Whether you are new to faith or have been walking with God for years, you are welcome here.
The AMC New Covenant Anglican Church Stockport is a warm and vibrant church family built on unity, love, and a deep commitment to God’s mission under the Diocese of Anglican Missionary Congregations (AMC), which is a dynamic missionary body of Orthodox, Evangelical, and Pentecostal Anglicans serving across the United Kingdom and Europe.
We joyfully subscribe to the Jerusalem Declaration of the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) and stand firmly for Anglican revival, renewal, and the restoration of God’s glory in the Anglican Communion and in the wider society.
Our spiritual mandate is clear:
To reach everyone in our communities with the transforming love of God revealed through the power of the resurrected Christ.
Our Story
The AMC New Covenant Anglican Church Stockport was inaugurated on 18th January 2026 by the Bishop of Diocese of Anglican Missionary Congregations Europe Rt. Rev. Dr. Gideon Ilechukwu with Venerable Dr. John C. Adubasim as the Vicar.
The Diocesan Council of Knights
Led by Sir Somtee Okeke was the instrument God used for the planting of the church.
Since the inauguration, God has continued to enlarge our family and deepen our impact in the Stockport community.
